Over 200 Jubilee party supporters from Huruma Ward Join UDA Party

Over 200 Jubilee party supporters from Huruma Ward have ditched the party for UDA.
According to the nominated member of County Assembly Maina Wachira, this will help to strengthen the party in the Ward which was perceived to be Azimio La Umoja supporters.

“Today we have received over 200 supporters of the Jubilee party who have joined UDA the ruling party without coercion or being forced by anyone. Their aim is to join President William Ruto in building the Country and not petty politics,” said Wachira while speaking to the press.

Huruma Ward is in Turbo Constituency which is the home County to President William Ruto.

“I want to thank the Almighty God, President William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua and the leadership of UDA from secretary general Cleophas Malala, Governor Jonathan Bii, and our Uasin Gishu UDA patron Joseph Wainaina for bringing us together and building our party,” added Maina.

Uasin Gishu leader of majority Julius Sang noted that they will move door to door to ensure that everyone in the Ward joins UDA.

“We have started a campaign where we will ensure that UDA is the only party in our ward and everyone supports President William Ruto. Our main mandate is to ensure that our presidents get support from the grassroots,” he said.
