Peace and Tranquility-Madam CEO
Happy New Year, and these were my thoughts this early morning-:
What if we choose to make this year, the year of peace and tranquility?
Peace and tranquility:-
With yourself,
With your family,
With your neighbour, a neighbour in the community, with the nations and the world at large?
Peace and tranquility with your business partners, with your boss, with your peers and all who you relate with?
Peace and tranquility among the different religions and races?
What if….?
Well, this doesn’t mean the situations and circumstances will be saying peace, peace, peace always or all the time
No,
There are and there will be hard times, difficult relationships, inconsiderate neighbours, unreasonable hard economic times, poor governance, religious differences etc.
But even then, why not pursue solutions to our issues against a background of peace and tranquility?
Why do I ask?
War in whatever form is very expensive!
It destroys businesses,
It destroys families,
It destroys communities,
It destroys nations indeed,-:
It has the potential of destroying the whole world!
For sure, your end will one day become, probably and, yes, for us of a certain faith, God will bring the world to an end, at sometime, some day.
In the meantime, why not strive to create peace as this sets the foundation of a great economy, great families, great politics etc.?
It takes a great leader to pursue peace when the situation is looking ‘war-ish’.
I want to call this year;
The Year to pursue Peace and Tranquility.
