Philip Kipng’etich Muigei Elected Uasin Gishu County Assembly Speaker
Philip Kipng’etich Muigei is now the new Uasin Gishu County Assembly Speaker.
This is after he won the the second round where he got 25 votes against his close competitor Nancy Chemutai Sang who got 19 votes.
Muigai formerly worked as a the accountant at Uasin Gishu County Assembly
The seat had attracted 8 candidates who included David Kiptoo Chumo, David Kiptoo Singoei, Geoffrey Chebwai Rutoh, James Kibor Singoei, Lillian Chemeli Rono, Nancy Chemutai Sang, and Tonny Kiprotich
He will now take over from David Kipagat who was elected as Soy Member of the parliament.
