President Ruto Mourns the Death of KDF officers

resident William bRuto has send a message of condolences to the family and friends of KDF officere involved in a plane crash.

“Our condolences to the families and friends on the heartbreaking loss of our heroes in the Lamu helicopter crash. We honour their bravery in defending and protecting Kenya’s sovereignty. Our prayers are with the Kenya Defence Forces and all those that have been affected by the tragedy,” president Ruto said.

This comes after s military helicopter belonging to the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) crashed on Monday during a night patrol in Lamu County killing its crew members.

According to a statement from KDF on Tuesday, the crew and other military personnel were on board a Kenya Air Force Huey Helicopter when the unfortunate accident occurred.

“The crew and other military personnel onboard were part of an air surveillance squadron intensifying day and night patrols and surveillance for the ongoing Operation Amani Boni,” said KDF.
