President Ruto, Raila Odinga Mourn the Death of Nubi Community Leader

President William Ruto has mourned the death of Mr who served as the Nubian chairman of the Council of Elders.

President Ruto described the deceased as a pillar of the community to the Nubian Community.

“We mourn with the Nubian Community following the passing of Issa Abdul Faraj. Mr Faraj, who served as the chairman of the Council of Elders, was a pillar of the community. He leaves behind a solid legacy in championing for land rights in Kibra and Kibos. I pray to God to give his family, friends and the Nubian community the strength to bear the loss. May his soul rest in eternal peace,” president Ruto Wrote.

Opposition leader Raila Odinga also mourned the deceased “I offer my heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Mzee Issa Abdul Faraj, Chairman of the Nubian Council of Elders. The Nubian community has lost a true leader and advocate for their rights and causes. Poleni sana kwa msiba. Inna Lillahi wa Inailayhi Rajiun,” he wrote.
