Projects Prioritization by the Public at KK, Segero, Kasarani and Kipkaren
Residents of Kasarani, KK, segero and Kipkaren Settlements turned up in large numbers for public participation on project familiarisation and election of Settlement Executive Committee(SEC)members and Grevance Redress Committee (GRC) for the projects under Kenya Informal Settlements Improvement Programme (KISIP)
The Settlements have been considered as beneficiaries of infrastructure development projects including road construction, sewer systems connectivity, drainage systems, high mast lighting and street lights in phase 2 of KISIP.
While addressing the wananchi of the Settlements, CECM Lands, Mr. Anthony Sitienei urged wananchi to place their priorities right as such opportunities are rare. MCAs Hon. Francis Muiya and Hon. Daniel Letting appreciated the programme’s interventions in their various wards.
