Henry Rithaa, CEO of Uwezo Fund Mr. Peter Lengapiani, CEO of Hustler Fund Ms. Elizabeth Nkukuu, a representative from the Youth Enterprise Fund, as well as Senators and MCAs, in gracing the Youth Na Biz Business Expo in Nairobi.
The expo aimed to provide a platform for transforming lobby groups into registered companies and align them with the Bottom Up Economic Transformation Agenda, which seeks to create sustainable jobs and generate wealth for youth.
The Hon PS, speaking during the event, encouraged all participants to explore the opportunities offered by agencies under the State Department including grants, notably the forthcoming NYOTA project set to launch in September, Affordable credit options through KIE, Youth Fund and market access to the regional bloc through events like the EAC Trade Fair scheduled in Burundi later this year.
PS Mang’eni proudly shared the success of the Hustler Fund, mentioning that a significant amount of Kes. 5 billion had been disbursed to 2 million individuals in Nairobi County, with an impressive repayment rate of 74.5%.
