PS Mangeni Okeys Synergy Between National and County Govts
The Principal Secretary in the State Department of Micro & Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Susan Mang’eni, has underscored the collaborative opportunity between the State Department of MSMEs and the County Governments in bolstering agricultural initiatives and fostering capacity building.
The Hon PS made the remarks at a stakeholders forum in Olkalou, Nyandarua County.
The meeting discussed the progress and operationalization of the Cold Storage Facility in Olkalou.
The Hon. PS also expressed her gratitude for the support extended by the Governor of Nyandarua County Kiarie Badilisha and the county commissioner’s office.
The Hon. PS was joined by Micro Small Enterprises Authority Board Chairman James Mureu, MSEA Board members Mr. Adan Sheikh, Mr. Billy Baltazar, Mr. Joseph Mbeva, Dr. Charles Kalomba, Margaret Njoroge and the Director General/CEO MSEA Henry Rithaa.
The meeting marked the inception of discussions pertaining to the operationalization of the cold storage to address farmers post harvest losses and value addition that will enhance their profit margins.
