PS Muoria Says There is Dire Need Ensures Youths are Fully Trained

Principal Secretary Dr. Esther Thaara Muoria has said that currently the Government has been given numerous opportunities to supply skills to various countries but it’s unfortunate that there are no enough individuals who are fully skilled in those areas.

Dr. Muoria who was addressing the 15th graduation ceremony at Nkabune Technical Training Institute in Meru county, said that there is a dire need to ensure that the youths in Kenya are fully trained.

The PS commended Nkabune Technical Training Institute for rolling out CBET programme and urged the institution management to ensure that in the future more students will graduate in CBET programmes.

“I hope that in the future graduations we will have many more graduates in CBET, graduates who will meet the industry and labour market needs both locally, regionally and internationally.The world today needs people who are skilled for the industry,” She said.

Dr. Muoria was confident that with the implementation of CBET programme, the economy of Kenya will be revived.
