PS SD-TVET Comments Monitoring and Evaluation Team

Principal Secretary SD-TVET Dr. Esther Thaara Muoria has today commented the team leading the monitoring and evaluation reporting on key priority areas in TVET’s institutions across the country.

Speaking at Sikri Technical and Vocational College for the Blind and Deaf in Homa Bay County, the PS who was represented by SD-TVET Deputy Director Technical Education Joseph Kanyi, said that the activity will help SD-TVET achieve it’s mandate.

The PS called on the TVET stakeholders and Principals to be keen and take advantage of every project that comes up in the institutions and ensure that the projects become training grounds for students.

Dr. Muoria at the same time implored on the the TVET Principals to be proactive in engaging students in every Government projects ranging from construction of Affordable Housing, County Aggregation Industrial Parks and Roads construction.

PS Muoria added that the projects will not only double up as training grounds for TVET students but will also give an opportunity to TVET institutions to supply equipment to the projects.

The monitoring and evaluation reporting on TVET key priority areas is being lead by Director Tertiary and Vocational Affairs Mengeech Rono and the activity is scheduled to cut across the country in all TVET institutions.

Sikri TVC activity brought together 24 TVET institutions drawn from Migori, Nyamira, Homa Bay and Kisii counties.
