Registration For Governor’s Cup Begins at Grassroots
Youth across Uasin Gishu County now have an opportunity to showcase their football talents as registration for the Governor’s Cup starts at the Ward levels.
The Department of Sports in collaboration with Members of County Assembly and the Ward Administrators have began registration across the 30 Wards.
The Governor’s Cup is a tourney sponsored by the County to give youth platforms to showcase their football abilities. The program is inspired by Governor Jonathan Bii’s pillar of youth empowerment and talent development.
Action starts in December, 2023 at the Ward levels, and culminate to the County finals sometime at the beginning of 2024.
