Renowned former Kass Media journalist Julius Tarus Found Dead in His Room
Renowned former Kass Media journalist Julius Tarus has passed on.
According to his brother Isaac Bowen the lifeless body of Julius Tarus was found in his house in Rock 2 Kimumu Thursday morning.
The Cause of his death has not yet been established.
“I want to confirm that my brother Julius Tarus has passed on. His body was found in his house and so far we don’t know what killed him,” said the deceased brother while speaking to the press.
Tarus had been at their rural home near Kabenes and left on Sunday back to Eldoret. On Monday he was in town and all through he did not complain of being unwell. On Tuesday his family members could not reach him on phone and today they sent relatives who found him dead,” he added.
More than twenty journalists from Uasin Gishu went to bid farewell to their colleague who had been working in Eldoret for more than ten years.
“As journalists, we are shocked w,e are here to bid farewell to our colleague on behalf of journalist I Eldoret we want to send our message of condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. May God gives him strength during this hard time of mourning,” said James Gitaka while speaking to the press.
More than 20 of us have been at the house where the DCI team was called and carried out some preliminary investigations before taking the body to the MTRH farewell home.
Kass FM CEO Julius Lamaon has confirmed that Tarus has formerly attached to the company as a freelance journalist. He says the company will support the family.
