Hon Ruku cannot rest easy until he makes sure that all his Constituents are connected to the grid.
“LAST MILE CONNECTIVITY:
This afternoon we had an extensive conversation involving Kenya Power officials from Nairobi Headquarters and from the Embu Office and the residents of Ciambugu, Nthawa to launch the process of connecting homesteads in Ciambugu to electricity.
This is the initial step towards connecting villages across the Constituency to electricity. Our goal is to move from village to village while working with partners such as Kenya Power (KPLC) and Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation (REREC) making sure that our people have access to the crucial commodity to meet business and home power needs.
