Ruku Reiterates Commitment to education
Mbeere North member of parliament The Honorable GK Ruku has reiterated his commitment to education.
“KAMUMU EDUCATION DAY & TERTIARY STUDENTS BURSARIES
In our continued efforts to reinvigorate the quality of education and student performance in Mbeere North, today we’ve held Kamumu Zone Education Day to sensitize parents, teachers, headteachers, school BOMs and Curriculum Support Officers (CSOs) and the Sub-County Ministry of Education on the need to work together to improve the standards of education in our community.
Equally in support of needy students in colleges, TVETs and universities, we have verified and validated tertiary level bursary applicants from Kiangombe and Ndurumori Locations in readiness to issue bursary cheques to them.
We’ve agreed with all the education stakeholders from the region that each of them will play their respective role in supporting learners to achieve better results and pursue their academic and professional goals.
My office will provide all the necessary support and goodwill that schools, students, Ministry of Education officials, headteachers, BOMs, parents and the community needs to ensure no student is left behind and that we achieve a more thriving Constituency academically.
By collaborating in education welfare, We The North will be Building a Better Society Together.”
