Senator Hezena Pays Courtesy Call to the High Commissioner of Kenya to Uganda
Senator Hezena Lemaletian is such a good ambassador paid a paid a courtesy call to the High Commissioner of Kenya to Uganda, H.E Maj.General Owino.
This is pursuing a lasting solutions to the conflict in the Great Lakes Region through the Forum of Parliaments For the International Conference on The Great Lakes Region where she serves in the committee of Women,Children and Vulnerable Persons.
She was accompanied by , H.E Senator Captain Ali Roba, EGH,
“Indeed,the Great Lakes Region has suffered a major blow to its stability due to decades-long internal conflicts within its member states and in the borders resulting in displacement of close to a Million people into The Republic of Uganda. It is a leadership duty to ensure peace is found within each country’s borders. The consequences of a distabilized nation are far more deeply disastrous than we can comprehend. It is my hope that we make solid strides in the right direction,” she said.
