Senator Mandago Should Carry His Own Cross on Finland and Canada Saga
Uasin Gishu governor Jonathan Bii now says his administration was not involved in Finland and Canada.
He said the former regime led by the now Senator Jackson Mandago was involved in the whole process.
On Monday parents stormed Governor Jonathan Bii’s office in Kapseret demanding their monies which they paid to the county government for the same.
Governor Bii urged parents to ask the previous government as he is not aware of what transpired.
“The previous administration led by governor Jackson Mandago should come and explain what they know about the program for I have no answers to some questions and also to get openness on the issue since I did not start the program but found it going on and everyone should carry their cross,” said Governor Bii.
He also added that his committee has talked to the management from the respective universities in Finland and Canada to let students study as they look for options to pay school fees and complete their studies.
“My committee has done a lot by seeking a chance for the students to complete their studies and graduate instead of them putting a pause in their studies for lack of school fees,” said the governor.
He also urged parents who haven’t paid school fees to pay to reduce the burden on students who have already paid their school fees fully.
