Seven Twenty Holdings Ltd Founder Beams Hope to Youths
His name is Mr Kenneth Karuri. A kindhearted, humble composed and very industrious gentleman.
Nine years ago, he started from very humble beginnings when, using his savings, he purchased a welding machine and Kick-started his vision of leaving a mark.
After careful calculations and iterations in metal fabrication he embarked on the fabrication of curtain rods, in his establishment in Mwihoko.
When the Mt. Kenya Times E-paper visited him in his workshop, Mr. Kenneth Karuri was all smiles when he narrated how he has seen his business grow.
Other than curtain rods, he has now ventured into the manufacture of architectural paints. That’s not all he says his vision is endless. He has lots of ideas bombarding his head just to make a positive impact in society and create employment through manufacturing.
Mr. Karuri called upon the youths to embrace technical courses which will propel them to achieve their dreams other than just waiting for white collar jobs.
He hailed the Government for extending opportunities to Micro Small and Medium Enterprises to participate in the Affordable Housing projects.
He called upon the Government to create incentives that will facilitate ease of doing business and eventually see to it that the economy of our country grows by double digits.
