Sifuna Hits Back at Joho Over Social Media Criticism
Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has responded sharply to Mining Cabinet Secretary Ali Hassan Joho following his recent comments on criticism directed at the government on social media.
In a public statement, Sifuna urged Kenyans not to be intimidated by anyone, emphasizing that Joho, who is now a Cabinet Secretary, should speak with the responsibility of his office. “Mwananchi wa sasa sio wa kufokewa. Ukumbuke wewe sio deputy party leader wa ODM au gavana wa Mombasa. Yeye ni waziri. Aongee kama waziri. Waziri ana uwajibikaji,” Sifuna said.
Sifuna’s comments come after Joho’s remark about online critics, urging them to focus on constructive dialogue.
