Speaker Phillip Muigei Elected North Rift Cluster Chairman
The Uasin Gishu County Assembly Speaker Phillip Muigei has been elected as Chairman of the Speakers of the County Assemblies Forum within the North Rift Cluster.
Muigei thanked speakers from the region for believing in his leadership.
“I want to thank speakers from the region for believing in my leadership, I promise to work for you and will never let you down,” said Muigei.
Muigei Who is serving as the first term Speaker of the County Assembly of Uasin Gishu is a CPA Holder.
He formerly worked as an accountant within the Assembly and is now the third Speaker of the County Assembly of Uasin Gishu taking over from David Kiplagat who is the current Member of Parliament for Soy Constituency in Uasin Gishu County.
