Street families in Eldoret will now be forced to undergo Farming planning.

Speaking to the press Uasin Gishu county Assembly leader of majority Julius Sang said this will reduce the number of street urchins in Eldoret CBD.

He called on the ministry of health to put together a team to look into the increased number of street children in Eldoret town and ways to curb it.

“I don’t know if it’s illegal but I want the ministry of health to send people to street family’s and force family planning on these children to stop the increasing young families on the streets,”said Julius Sang while speaking to the press.

The majority leader expressed his disapproval of meeting young girls on the streets with Children on the back looking for a means to survive.

“Everywhere you go you find girls in the streets pregnant and they do not have the means to provide for themselves and children with them.We cannot allow these to continue happening
This is a bad sign and we will ensure it comes to an end.,”said the majority leader.

The majority leader added that allowing these street families to continue is the cause of more thugs in the town.

“Having these street families raising more kids in the streets results to the increasing insecurities in the town,”said Julius.

The media brief was conducted as a result of looting and demonstration of that had happened earlier yesterday between marketers and enforcers.
