Strengthening Partnerships For Community Development
A Trade and Investment Stakeholders Workshop on Enterprises Development and Support Affiliates initiated by the County Government and generously supported by @USAIDKenya Nawiri held in Turkana.
The event brought together key participants, including MSEA Turkana office led by the ADED Philip Maobe, who not only attended the forum but also played a crucial role as one of the key speakers, representing the interests of the National Government.
One of the primary outcomes of this gathering was a consensus to forge Joint Work plans, capitalizing on the combined resources of various stakeholders to better serve the Turkana Community.
MSEA, in particular, made significant headway by securing a position within the Secretariat Technical Committee, comprised of just 11 members, further underlining their commitment to the development of the region.
The workshop witnessed participation of several influential stakeholders, such as MSEA, USAID, UNHCR, KDII, PEACE WINDS, INKO MOKO, SRC, COUNTY ASSEMBLY, OFFICE OF GOVERNOR & DG, YEDF, WEF, the Chamber of Commerce KNCCI, and various other non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
This meeting of diverse expertise and resources promises a brighter future for the Lake Turkana community, where trade and investment are set to thrive, ushering in a new era of prosperity.
