Under the relentless efforts and dedication of the area member of parliament Geoffrey Wandeto, the TETU Technical and Vocational College is one that all other constituencies will be benchmarking with.

On Friday the TVET received a brand New Bus procured through NG-CDF courtesy of Hon.Geoffrey Wandeto Mp Tetu constituency.

Principal Secretary in the State Department of TVET Dr Esther Thaara Muoria graced the occasion and was accompanied by Principal Secretaries, Eng. John Tanui- ICT& Digital Economy and Ann Wang’ombe – Gender. Together they commissioned the Jitume lab at the college that has been key to empowering digital skills and literacy to the trainees and the community of Tetu.

She noted,

“In an endeavour to ensure that proper skilling takes place in our TVET institutions, it is of paramount importance that competency skills are imparted to the Kenyans youths.

It was encouraging to note the tremendous growth TETU TVC has achieved in both student enrollment and uptake of CBET courses.
I implored the community to use the resources available at the college to gain skills in order to enhance the uptake of gainful opportunities in the labour market.

I appreciate the efforts by the area Member of Parliament in boosting and supporting TETU TVC in many spheres.”
