THE MULTI-AGENCY SECURITY TEAM RECOVERS MORE WEAPONS IN MARSABIT
On 26th May 2022, the Multi- Agency security team that is conducting ‘Operation Rejesha Amani Marsabit’ while on mobile patrol at Harondel and Bubisa Location, arrested and skillfully interrogated four suspects leading to the recovery of one G-3 rifle with one magazine and four rounds of (7.62×51) mm of live ammunition, two AK-47 rifles with four magazines and seventy nine rounds of (7.62×39) mm of live ammunition.
Other items recovered include rifle lubrication oil, military clothing, straps, water camel, and footwear.
Further interrogation of one of the suspects has today led to the recovery of one A-K 47 rifle with one magazine and twenty three round of (7.62×39) mm of live ammunition.
The three of the suspects were handed over to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations in Marsabit for further investigations and any other necessary police action.
