This Man Kore: A leader par excellence

He is a leader like no other. So dedicated and focused towards call of duty in service to the Great people of Mandera South.

“I joined other leaders from northeastern region in attending a briefing session for Deris Wanaag (good neighbourliness project), that illustrates the shared interest between governments, sub-national administrations and communities across the border areas to enhance peace and stability for the common good of the three countries and their citizens.

The project is funded UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO)- Conflict, Stability and Security Fund (CSSF) East Africa.

The project is expected to run from between March 2023 – March 2026 and targets Border areas between Kenya, Somalia and Ethiopia (Mandera, Garissa, Wajir and Lamu (Kenya), Jubaland (Somalia) and Dolo Ado, Somali Region (Ethiopia).

The project will be implemented through Partners including Adam Smith International (ASI), the Danish Refugee Council (DRC), and the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI).
