Three killed in Machakos accident
A boda boda rider and his two pillion passengers died on the spot in a road accident at Mathatani area along Mua road in Athi river sub county.
Police reports indicate that the cyclist collided head on with a vehicle at around 1.00pm Tuesday.
Athi river Sub County Police Commander Jos Mudavadi said the driver of vehicle, a Mercedes Benz was driving towards the Nairobi -Mombasa highway from Mua hills, when he collided with the motorcycle that was headed in the opposite direction.
“As a result of the accident the rider and his two unknown male pillion passengers died on the spot,” read part of the police report.
Mudavadi said the bodies of the deceased were moved to Montezuma funeral home awaiting postmortem and subsequent identification.
The vehicle was towed to Kyumbi police station pending investigations.
