Tragic Incident in Eldoret: Son Allegedly Kills Mother, Attempts Suicide
Turbo Subcounty, Uasin Gishu – Police are investigating a disturbing incident that occurred late Saturday night in Maili Nne Estate, on the outskirts of Eldoret City. A man is alleged to have killed his mother, a prominent Muslim businesswoman, in what has shocked the local community.
The victim, known for her extensive work and generosity within the West Indies Estate, was a respected figure among residents. Her body has been transported to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital’s mortuary, as investigators work to unravel the circumstances surrounding her death.
According to preliminary reports, the suspect, who is the woman’s son, allegedly committed the crime before attempting to take his own life. He was discovered in critical condition and was promptly admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital. His current condition remains critical as he continues to receive medical care.
