Trans Nzoia County Agriculture CEC Mrs Phanice Khatundi and NARIGP Team Honored for Exemplary Performance in Agriculture Development

In a remarkable achievement for Trans Nzoia County, Mrs Khatundi, the County Executive Committee Member (CECM) in charge of Agriculture, has been recognized as the best performing CEC in the country for her exceptional leadership in implementing the National Agriculture and Rural Inclusive Growth Project (NARIGP) program.

The prestigious award was presented to her and the NARIGP team during a ceremony held at the Paradise Convention Center in Mombasa.

The accolade was conferred by the Chair of the Council of Governors’ Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries sector, Governor Ken Lusaka, who applauded Mrs. Khatundi and her team for their outstanding efforts in the proper utilization of NARIGP funds.

This recognition further solidifies Trans Nzoia County’s position as the epitome of agricultural excellence, proudly known as Kenya’s Food Basket.
