Trans-Nzoia County Hosts National Boda Boda President

Trans-Nzoia County administration hosted a significant meeting with the National President of Boda Boda, Mr. Kevin Mubadi, at the county headquarters earlier today.

The meeting was attended by key county officials, including the County Secretary Mrs Truphosa Amere, Deputy County Secretary Mr George Kisaka, CEC Trade Mr Patrick Gacheru, PA Special Projects Joseph Mulupi, County Bodaboda Chair, Mr Oumbima.

Mr. Mubadi expressed his gratitude to Governor George Natembeya for his transformative initiatives, notably the reduction of rates and the extension of the Nawiri Fund to five SACCOs.

“This is a significant stride towards economic empowerment for Boda Boda operators,” he said.

The meeting highlighted the importance of collaboration between Boda Boda operators and the county in revenue collection, security, and economic development.

In a show of leadership and unity, Governor George Natembeya was affirmed as the Head Patron, and Oumbima was recognized as the leader at the county level.

By acknowledging the efforts and contributions of the Boda Boda operators, the county administration demonstrates its commitment to fostering a mutually beneficial partnership.
