Trans Nzoia Roads Undergo maintenance, County Seeks Improved Accessibility

In a bid to improve accessibility and facilitate the movement of goods and services, the Trans Nzoia county administration has embarked on a road maintenance program.

County Executive Committee (CEC) Member for Roads, Mr. Jackson Amboka, and Engineer Rachel Wangoi conducted an inspection of ongoing road works across the county.

They emphasized the importance of high-quality construction to Governor George Natembeya’s administration.

“Governor Natembeya’s administration is committed to ensuring that roads are accessible across the county,” said Mr. Amboka.

“This will facilitate the easy transportation of goods and services, ultimately benefiting our residents.”

The inspection focused on several key projects:

Construction of a box culvert in Bidii Ward.
Construction of a box culvert in Wekhonye, Kiminini Ward.
Construction of a box culvert in Nakhosi, Kinyoro Ward.
Construction of a box culvert in Ngoye.
Engineer Wangoi echoed Mr. Amboka’s sentiments, stressing the importance of using quality materials and adhering to construction specifications.

“We want to ensure these roads last for years to come and serve the needs of our communities,” she said.
