Uasin Gishu County Assembly leader of Majority Message after the Court of Appeal Declared BBI Null and Void
I sincerely thank God the father and the Court of Appeal Judges for the historic ruling after intimidation and claims of attempt bribery, our prayers were answered. And it should be noted that this was not about leaders, the North Rift nor the Deputy President, the rulling was for the Constitution, our Country and the people of Kenya.
The decision by five bench High Court Judges and Six out of Seven bench Court of Appeal Judges, even if they take their appeal to the Supreme Court, I personally believe the decision will not be overturned. It’s time to focus on development and recovery of the fours years and resources lost in the wind chasing process of BBI.
My heartly advice to our beloved President and Our handshake brother in law Raila Odinga, it is now time to seat down and start discussing the economy and the well-being of Kenyans. BBI brought alot of misunderstandings and in the process time was lost and nothing constructive done.
It is so insensible and luck of wisdom for leaders who we expect to discus on issues affecting Kenyans to seat in government offices, boardrooms and high end hotels just to discuss on how to bring down a single, hardworking Kenyan.
The purported unity they are talking about cannot be realised while excluding others. We must act realistically and take this country to the right direction.
My prayers as we enter the electioneering period is let us remain peaceful, be our brothers keeper and above all be patriotic enough to remember the dream our forefathers left us with. Kenya kwanza, Kenya Milele.
