UASIN GISHU PHYSICAL AND LAND USE CONSULTATIVE FORUM ADOPTS PLANS FOR 8 TRADING CENTRES
Uasin Gishu County Physical and Land Use Consultative Forum chaired by the County Executive Committee Member for Lands, Housing, Physical Planning and Urban Development Eng Nelson Maritim, today recommended plans for 8 trading centres among them :-Kipsigak, Garage, Tuiyo, Kaplolo, Ngeria, Kipsangu, Chepkurmum and Nyalilbey
Together with expert input from The State Department of Physical Planning, CECM Roads Eng. Gedion Birir, CECM Water Mrs Mary Njogu, CECM Education Mr Joseph Kurgat, who are members of the forum, agreed that the plans met the conditions required by the Physical Planning act Regulations and was due for circulation in the recommended offices upto the office of the director General of Physical Planning to input references numbers to the plans for onward presentation to the cabinet and finally to the assembly.
Eng. Maritim commended the Department of Physical Planning for the dedication and commitment to deliver the plans on time noting that it meets the threshold of what is required by law.
