Uasin Gishu Women Rep Launches Digitruck Training Program in Moisbridge
Uasin Gishu women representative Gladys Boss Sholei has launched the Digitruck training program in Moi’s Bridge, Soy Constituency.
Speaking during the launch Sholwi said this will deliver a 60-day training session in all Uasin Gishu Sub-counties
“The program is targeting at least 1000 young individuals. This program aims to provide digital education, positioning Uasin Gishu as a significant player in Kenya’s digital transformation, ” she said.
She further noted that President Ruto has pledged to generate 300,000 digital jobs for the country’s young people through partnerships with global tech companies.
“To prepare the youth for these opportunities, the Gladys Boss Foundation has teamed up with Huawei to provide basic digital skills training, ” she added.
