UDA Party Establishes Disciplinary Committee for Grassroots Elections

In preparation for the upcoming Grassroots Elections slated to commence on April 26th, 2024, the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Party has officially announced the formation of its Disciplinary Committee. Chaired by Mr. Charles Njenga, the committee is tasked with ensuring strict adherence to the party’s code of conduct and values among all participants.

Under the leadership of Chairperson Mr. Charles Njenga, the committee is committed to upholding the party’s principles and enforcing disciplinary measures outlined in the party’s constitution. This includes the potential suspension of members found in violation of the party’s rules and regulations.

Complaints regarding misconduct or breaches of the party’s code of conduct can be lodged via email at udadc@uda.ke, providing a channel for party members to address grievances and concerns.

The committee comprises distinguished members, including Governor Cecily Mbarire serving as the Chairperson, Ms. Carolyne Njenga, Mr. Majimbo Georgiadias, Mr. Paul Karuga, Prof. Fatma Abdi, Mr. Kibet Kirui (Director Legal and Compliance), Mr. Sanare Punyua (Legal Officer), and Ms. Linah Muraya (Legal Advisor).

With the formation of this Disciplinary Committee, the UDA Party reaffirms its commitment to conducting transparent, fair, and orderly grassroots elections, ensuring the integrity of the democratic process within the party.
