UDA Party Gives Governor Jackson Mandago Senatorial Nomination Certificate

UDA party has finally given Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago nomination certificate after he won the senatorial race.  

 Governor Jackson Mandago secured the UDA party ticket for the Senate seat, after garnering 75, 847 votes against his closest challenger- lawyer Kipchumba Karori who sec 55,854 votes.

Through his official Facebook page he wrote “To God be the glory, I have picked my United Democratic Alliance Party nomination certificate. As a team, we will work to deliver a Hustler Government in the August general election,”

Mandago who was elected on a Jubilee party ticket is serving his second and last term in office.

He has been a big supporter of the  deputy president William Samoei Ruto’s presidential bid in the fourthcoming August elections.

Mandago’s post recieved mixed reactions here are some of their comments. 

Gideon Ngetich says ” Congratulations… No doubts in your abilities and charisma…Maintain the energy… I look forward to be hearing the speaker saying.. “Senator from Uasin-gishu county as you respond..”Mr. Speaker sir /madam… “..good times ahead for the county,”

Duncan Bett says “ought to have been Karori….recycling viongozi  at county level sio mzuri..serve 10yrs na uondokeee other new and great minds to serve…you should help dp and wait for a cs slot..weather ashinde or ashindwe,”

Moses Rotich says “One can’t serve as the area chief then on retirement he is approved to be the village elder ……if you know you know,”

Kirwa Kipchumba wrote “Mandago is there to stay karori is nolonger on the race Arap kemei is a walk over,ataheshimu ukuta,”
