UDA Secretary General Congratulates Graduates, Promises Continued Support for Education
United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Secretary General, Senator Hassan Omar, today hosted Mr. Calvince Ochieng, a graduate of Kenyatta University, who earned a Diploma in Security Science and Management. Ochieng, widely known as “The Seconder” for his pivotal role in seconding President William Ruto’s candidacy in the 2022 elections, was celebrated for his resilience and determination in balancing his work at Hustler Plaza and his academic pursuits.
During the ceremony, Senator Omar lauded Ochieng’s dedication to both his studies and his role within the party. “Calvince’s journey is a testament to the power of resilience and hard work,” Senator Omar remarked. “Balancing work and studies is no small feat, and today, we celebrate your success.”
Ochieng’s story is one of perseverance, having navigated the challenges of being a full-time employee at UDA while also attending classes at Kenyatta University. His dedication has earned him admiration not only within the party but also from the broader public.
Senator Omar further encouraged Ochieng to continue his educational journey, offering the party’s full support for him to pursue a degree course. “We are committed to ensuring that our staff have the opportunity to further their education. Your success is an inspiration, and we look forward to supporting you as you take the next step in your academic career,” said Omar.
Additionally, the event also celebrated Ms. Patience Kiti, who graduated from the University of Nairobi with a Master’s degree in Project Planning and Management. Senator Omar took the opportunity to congratulate Ms. Kiti on her outstanding academic achievement and commended her for the hard work and dedication that led to her success.
“The UDA Party is proud of the accomplishments of both Calvince and Patience. As a party, we are committed to supporting our members and staff in their pursuit of education and personal development. These milestones are proof of our commitment to empowering individuals,” Senator Omar added.
Both Ochieng and Kiti’s graduations reflect the party’s commitment to fostering growth and development among its members, particularly in empowering young people to pursue education and enhance their careers.
The UDA Party continues to emphasize the importance of education and knowledge development, with plans to further support individuals who strive for academic excellence and personal growth.
