Unlocking the Potential:LRV Holds Business Ecosystems Summit
In line with the ongoing government reforms aimed at stimulating business growth and bolstering economic independence across the country, Lake region counties have held the first ever Business ecosystem summit in Kisumu.
The Summit which brought together Governors from the 14 LREB Counties, Investment partners and the Business world aimed at unlocking the potential of collaborative networks and effectively navigating the dynamic shifts within various business landscapes in Lake region counties.
“As governors from the lake region, we are exploring strategic ways of forging partnerships to unlock the full potential of our businesses” Said Bungoma Governor Kenneth lusaka who is also the bloc’s vice chair.
Kisumu Governor Prof. Anyang Nyong’o who is the chair of the block said the summit serves as a catalyst for fostering innovation, driving economic growth, and creating harmonious collaborations.
“Together, we will explore strategies, to unlock the full potential of our business ecosystems. I call on all participants to join hands and embark on this transformative journey towards a prosperous future.” Said Nyong’o .
The governor added that LREB seeks within its mandate to enhance socio economic transformation of the bloc through leveraging on the economies of scale in its ecosystem.
In attendance were Governors: James Orengo(Siaya) Wilber Otichilo (Vihiga) Amos Nyaribo (Nyamira) and TransNzoia Deputy Governor Philomena Kapkory.
