We are Not Conning Our Clients- First Choice Recruitment and Consultancy Agency MD
First Choice Recruitment and Consultancy Agency Managing Director Judy Jepchirchir, has refuted claims of alleged coning of several locals who promised to travel to Qatar for jobs during the upcoming world cup.
Speaking to the press, Jepchirchirr alleged that the unrest witnessed in the past week was a result of some individuals having been paid to tarnish the good image of her company stating several suspects have already been arrested.
“Last week several locals stormed our office with allegations that we had coned them. This is a scheme by our competitors to tarnish the image of our company since the competition has become very stiff. We have been in this business for three years now. There are several other countries that our competitors can choose to venture in. All those claims of us conning people are a lie and further investigations about the matter are currently underway. We believe that justice will be served and we hope to resume our normal activities soon,” said Jepchirchir.
First Choice Recruitment and Consultancy Agency Managing Director further insisted that their operations are legit and their operations are recognized by both the county and the national governments.
“The state is aware of our operations and we have undergone all legal processes to ensure we abide by the law. We are registered and we have our license. This group is not the first. We have helped over seven thousand people secure jobs in outside countries and we have gotten positive feedback from both their employers and the individuals themselves. This delay has accrued because of the influx of people in Qatar but I assure all the recruits that each and everyone who still wants to proceed with the contract will travel as earlier planned,” First Choice Recruitment and Consultancy Agency Managing Director added .
The majority of the complainants stormed the First Choice offices claiming their passports and a refund of their money.
“We understand the chaos and confusion caused amidst all this have made several people want to withdraw. All people who want a refund of their money will receive their money but they must understand there is a due process to be followed. We are working to ensure that everyone will get a refund of their money. Rumors of us having vacated the premises are complete lies. We are still in the same office and we will continue to work from those offices”
She called on the government to set up a management system to keep track of the people traveling out of the country in search of employment.
