We are Prepared for CHAN- Ababu Assures CAF Boss
Sports Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba has assured CAF Secretary General Véron Mosengo-Omba of Kenya’s preparedness to be co-hosted by the Pamoja AFCON’27 states.
The CS assured the SG that Kenya was fully prepared for CHAN, with renovations of Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega well underway, adding that the East African partners had equally demonstrated their readiness for the event.
“As Kenya, we are very ready for CHAN. If you say it is tomorrow then we have Nyayo Stadium ready to host the games, but if we go by our plan, the Bukhungu Stadium will be ready in 4 months time for the tournament,” assured the CS.
On his part, Véron assured the CS of CAF’s support and availability towards guaranteeing a good execution of the event.
