On the other hand, Janet Sitienei, Member of Parliament Turbo constituency, Urged leaders to stop inciting citizens to fight against each other and instead they should promote peace.

“We as leaders should stop inciting citizens to bring violence and all leaders should mind what they say because what we say as leaders affect the citizens, “said Janet Sitienei.

She also added that when a country has peace, it’s more likely to develop much faster.
“Citizens are the people who suffer the most when there is unrest in the country because without peace they won’t be able to look for food for their children as peace gives leaders an opportunity to bring about development in the country” she added.
