What Oscar Sudi Said After UDA’S Cleophas Malala Lost in the Kakamega Gubernatorial Race
Kapseret member of parliament Oscar Kipchumba Sudi has spoken after uda’s Cleophas Malala lost the Kakamega gubernatorial seat.
Through his official Facebook page he wrote “Congratulations to Fernandes Baraza for winning Kakamega Gubernatorial seat. My friend Cleophas Malala you fought a good race, relax and support Governor elect. I also extend my congratulations to Abdulswamad Nassir for winning Mombasa, I ask my good friend Hassan Omar to prepare for 2027,”
The Kapseret member of parliament is a staunch supporter of the deputy president William Samoei Ruto.
Malala who was vying on a UDA party ticket lost to Fernandez Barasa of ODM party.
Sudi has been campaigning for Malala to inherit the incumbent Kakamega outgoing governor Wycliffe Oparanya.
“We in Kenya Kwanza urge our friends in Azimio to equally accept the results and congratulate their opponents when they are defeated in a contest. We are a democratic nation and a win from any of us is a win for all Kenyans,” he added.
