And now, more than ever before, Eng. Mwangi has been appointed as the Vice Chairperson of FIDIC (International Federation of Consulting Engineers).
Various professional membership bodies showered Eng. James Mwangi with goodwill messages.
The Institution of Engineers of Kenya in a statement noted:
“The Institution of Engineers of Kenya congratulates Eng. James Mwangi on his remarkable appointment as vice chairperson of FIDIC (International Federation of Consulting Engineers). A testament to his exceptional dedication and expertise in the Engineering field. Eng. Engineer Mwangi is the first Kenyan to serve on the board and also the first time be appointed Vice President. FIDIC will for the first time be led by a female president Eng. Catherine Karakatsanis since it was founded 110 years ago.”
