Kirinyaga County Assembly Speaker The Honorable Muteti Murimi is a great man. A gifted and selfless leader who is keen to set a good example to the scores of mentees who look upon this principled and focused gentleman. Mr. Speaker Muteti notes,
“Yesterday, I welcomed students from Sagana Secondary School to the County Assembly, where they observed the legislative process firsthand during our plenary sessions. Afterward, they were taken through a mentorship session by Hon Members as part of assembly community outreach program, emphasizing the impact of education on their future success and contributions to society.
Later in the day, I received a courtesy call from the Director of Industrialization and his team from the State Department of Industrialization. They will provide expert support in reviewing key legislative and policy documents essential to Kirinyaga’s industrial growth, including the KIDA Act (2018 and Amendment Act 2023), the Draft KIDA Regulations 2024, and the Sagana Industrial City Development Policy 2024, helping to establish a regulatory environment that fosters sustainable development and attracts investment.”
