Why Janet Mbugua will Enter Heaven
Inua Dada founder Janet Mbugua will see Heaven because she touches the heart of God through her kind work.
“Yesterday marked a huge milestone for Inua Dada and several other organizations, in the work towards greater advocacy and information on MHM and access to WASH services, for many, when we were awarded grants to scale our existing programs and roll out in various other counties.
We are happy to announce a two year market-based partnership with USAID funded Western Kenya Sanitation Project (WKSP) to strengthen access to and utilization of Menstrual Hygiene Management Products and Services in Kakamega County, work we are already carrying out in Nairobi.
This grant will allow us to scale knowledge, information, services and collaborations, helping us bridge the existing gaps.
Thank you to all partners and leaders on this project:
USAID, County Government of Kakamega, Busia County, Kakamega Water and Sanitation Company, Office of the First Lady of Kakamega, The Pad Project and more.
It was also great connecting with Prof. Betty Murungi, First Lady of Siaya County and Munira Twahir of Inteco (we shed a tear together, thinking about the journey to this day!) and all the other awardees.”
