Women Leaders Economic Empowerment Forum in Kisumu County
MSEA Kisumu Office played a key role in the Women Leaders Economic Empowerment Forum. They educated and engaged over 500 grassroots women leaders involved in diverse business programs.
The focus was on introducing them to the Authority’s mission, the abundance of development opportunities available, and accessing funding through the Hustler Fund’s digital platform. The forum was a collaborative effort that brought together local leaders and esteemed guests.
It was part of a series of gatherings initiated by Hon. Eliud Owalo, CS for ICT and Digital Economy. The aim was to empower women leaders by providing insights into various opportunities and effective means of access.
Technical experts were present to offer valuable guidance on organizing into solid cooperatives. This strategic approach aims to maximize opportunities within the MSME sector, ultimately improving their quality of life in line with BETA.
