Women power Meet Managing Director of Homelink Mabati factory Catherine Kathure

It’s said what a man can do a woman can do better. This is so evident with what one entrepreneur, Managing Director of Homelink Mabati factory Catherine Kathure is doing.

Five years ago Catherine started the Homelink Mabati, from humble beginnings. Today, Homelink mabati has grown exponentially and offers different types of high quality, durable and affordable roofing sheets which include : Box profile, veetile, prime tile, corrugated profile and canopy sheets. The sheets are available in different colours like brick red, charcoal grey, blue, green in matt finish and gloss finish.

In a news interview, Catheine spoke candidly on her entrepreneural journey.

“I started Homelink Mabati in 2018, and it gives me a lot of joy and satisfaction to have employed more than 20 youths, in line with the Government’s call for job creation. I’d like to tell our youths you don’t have to go looking for white collar jobs, you can arm yourself with a technical skill of operating a machine or hone your sales skills or even start your own entereprise and give opportunities to fellow youths.
