The youth have been urged to use the remaining minutes by turning up in large numbers and vote.
Speaking to the press, Heston Mungisi said youths should turn out in great numbers to elect their leaders without any fear.

“Let’s use the remaining time as youths to turn out in large numbers and vote for your preferred leaders. Each and every vote counts. I, therefore, appeal to all youths at home to get up and actively take part in this important exercise of choosing the leaders that will serve us for the next five years. I have already voted and the exercise is running smoothly without any controversies,” said Mungisi while speaking to the press.

Mungisi beseeched the youth to join him in spreading peace all over the county stating that all efforts put in place to make sure peace prevails should not go to waste.

“Our country has previously had cases of violence each time elections approach but this year’s elections seem quite promising. The youth have been at the forefront in preaching peace as we saw in the massive turnouts in the various peace walks that were conducted in various parts of the county. This has made us quite hopeful and I encourage them to carry on with this until the end,” added Mungisi.

He applauded IEBC for conducting a free and fair process saying the exercise was faster.

“I congratulate IEBC for a job well done in the preparation of the entire voting exercise. it only took me less than five minutes, lets’s exercise our democratic exercise by voting leaders of our choice,” he added.

The voting exercise in the county is currently running very smoothly with a large number of voter turnouts seen.
