124 National Police Reservists Pass Out In Samburu
124 National Police Reservists joined NPS following the completion of their basic training and subsequent Pass Out which was held at Ltungai Conservancy Camp in Samburu County.
This is the second cohort of trainees to Pass Out after 170 NPRs were inducted in a similar exercise held on December 16, 2022 at the same camp.
Representing the Inspector General of Police, the Rift Valley Regional Police Commander, Mr.Tom Mboya Odero, Assistant Inspector General, urged the Reservists to demonstrate high levels of professionalism and integrity in their service delivery to nation.
He affirmed that the recruits are fully prepared to be incorporated in the multi-agency security framework to deal firmly and decisively with the security menace, especially cattle rustling and banditry that pose existential ramifications to security in the region.
Just yesterday, (22nd January, 2023), one NPR single handedly repulsed over 10 bandits that attempted to drive away over 100 goats at Losuk Valley.
NPS lauds the bravery and commitment exhibited by the reservist in the execution of his duties.
