Kapkitony medical container operationalized
Provision of health care services in Kabiemit Ward is set to improve following the operationalization of Kapkitony dispensary medical container that is fully equipped.
Among the services that will be provided include Maternity services, outpatient, family planning, laboratory services, HIV/TB care services among other services.
Chief Officer health and sanitation Mary Kipchumba said the commissioning will help ease burden and distance patients used to cover seeking crucial services.
“Patients who used to spend money in travelling to Kamwosor or Chepkorio Sub County Hospital will now access the services at Kapkitony Dispensary saving them time and money” she said.
She urged the community to embrace the now operationalized medical container when seeking health services.
Sports CEC Kiprono Chepkok who was also present said the County Government will continue improving provision of healthcare services across the country.
The container was donated to the county by the national government.
Also present during the event included area MCA Elisha Kiplagat, administrator Theophilus Ayabei and sub county medical team
