Youths Urged Not To Used By Politicians to Cause Violence

Huruma Ward youth representative Harun Chomba Maina has urged not to be used to cause violence in the forthcoming general elections.

Speaking to the press in Eldoret town Maina said youths should not allow themselves to be used by politicians to cause violence.

“As we are heading to the next general elections, we are calling on our fellow youths not to allow politicians to use them to cause violence, we should shun such leaders since their aim is to destroy our future,” said Maina while speaking to the press.

He says even if they are given the money they should just take it but use their vote to vote leaders of substance who will change their lives.

He called on Kenyans to maintain peace before, during, and after the 2022 general elections.

“I urge Kenyans to maintain peace since we don’t have a spare the country we don’t want to destroy what we have built for the last ten years by being deceived by one person or another. Politicians should not use inflammatory words which might lead to chaos but instead should sell their manifestos to the electorates,” he added

He warned youths against being used by politicians in engaging in activities that cause chaos and spread

“ I want to urge all youths to use the internet in an appropriate way rather than being deceived by politicians to spew hatred as they conduct online campaigns. Social media is not meant to create enmity between tribes, during the electioneering period,” he advised.

He further asked youths to choose their leaders wisely in the forthcoming elections those who will bring development projects in their areas.

“When the time comes to vote, vote leadership which will spur developments in your wards, counties, and the country as a whole. Don’t vote for a leader because he has given you money but choose a leader who will change your future,” he said.

Maina appealed to Kenyans to vote for Deputy President William Samoei Ruto come 2022.

“I urge Kenyans across all divides to support the Deputy President William Ruto in the coming general elections. William Ruto has distinguished himself as the only leader putting the country’s interests before politics, and he has the right policies to transform the economy and create jobs for millions of unemployed youths,” he said.
