3 People Perish in a Road Accident along Narok-Mai Mahiu Road
Three people have lost their lives on the spot and four others were left seriously injured after being involved in a catastrophic accident in a Stima area, along the Narok-Mai Mahiu Road.
The accident which occurred on Tuesday morning involved four trucks.
According to Narok East Police Commander Jarred Marando, a truck from Mai Mahiu which was heading to Narok tried to overtake another truck that was ahead of it and unfortunately faced a head-on collision with an oncoming truck from the opposite direction.
This led the driver to lose consciousness and steer the truck off the road, hitting the wheels of another truck that was also heading to Narok.
The fatalities were taken to the Narok Referral Hospital while the injured victims are being treated at the same facility.
